Sim Card An Indian SIM-card to save you the bureaucratic hassle to get one and to make communication easy.
Hotel Package Accommodation reserved for the whole length of the trip, all the hotels included.
Airport Pick up Pick up and transport to Chennai hotel.
Mobile Phone Mobile phone to use with your Indian SIM-card.
Rally Vehicle A fully prepared vehicle including rental fee and transportation costs. Pick up at the start and drop off at the finish.

Other Stuff

Deposits

€750 per vehicle for deluxe teams. Ain’t cheap but with experience we’ve found that it’s the right number to make sure that no matter how hard you party after the day’s stage that you’ll remember not to lose your mobile or not to crash your vehicle just for the hell of it without stopping to consider the deposit.

Accommodations are included for Standard and Deluxe teams. In the road book you get a list of hotel/hostel options with as much information as possible. You can choose based on your priorities, though keep in mind that we are traveling during tourist season in some places, that have very few options to start with. To make things easier for participants we offer limited accommodation packages before the start of the event. Our goal is to establish “best of” and “most budget friendly” packages, however these are really approximations based on what’s available en route. We cannot make both choices available to all participants as it is on a “first come, first served” basis.

India is much cheaper than other parts of the world but is not nearly as cheap as it is often supposed. The lower-end options are quite inexpensive but like in all other parts of the world be prepared to pay for 5 star hotels and excellent service at rates not much different than ones you are familiar with. There’s sightseeing, souvenirs and unique must try experiences every where.
